5 sentence review of Two and A Half Men: Why We Gave Up Women
Season 9, Episode 22: “Why We Gave Up Women”
5. Kathy Bates made a guest appearance as the ghost of Charlie Sheen on “Two and a Half Men” on Monday, which might be the best joke Chuck Lorre’s ailing sitcom landed all season.
4. And even that was funner in the TV Guide description than actual execution.
3. I’m ready to admit that the show was funnier with Sheen than Ashton Kutcher, but I’m not ready to give up on adding cast members from “That ’70s Show” to prop up the “Two and A Half Men.”
2. Imagine Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp as Kutcher’s randy parents, Laura Prepon, whose terrible show “Are You There, Chelsea?” is certain to be cancelled, teaming with Lisa Robin Kelly, who hasn’t been seen since she disappeared from the “That ’70s” cast, as lesbian couple who become bi-curious for Walden Schmitt.
1. Hell, why not replace the insufferable Alan (Jon Cryer) with Topher Grace, who doesn’t seem to have anything to do, and nearly-always absent Angus T. Jones with Wilmer Valderrama, who would have to take a break from dating hot Hollywood chicks, and maybe the whole gang can sit in a circle and smoke pot with Tommy Chong.

Sophie Winkleman plays Ashton Kutcher's love interest on "Two and a Half Men." This photo has nothing to do with the review, but it gets hits from the Internet and we're in need.
